The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for optimizing production processes, improving product quality, and driving continuous improvement initiatives within a precision machining environment. This role supports efficient manufacturing operations by developing programs, implementing process improvements, and collaborating with production, engineering, and accounting teams.
The position involves hands-on involvement with CNC programming, process development, cost analysis, and production support to ensure high-quality and efficient manufacturing outcomes. Locations East Aurora, NY and Corry, PA
Must-Have Skills, Experience, and Education
• Associate degree or higher in a technical field
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on machining experience
• Experience with CNC programming using CAD/CAM systems

Requirements
• Create CNC part programs using CAD/CAM systems for lathes and mills
• Develop internal drawings using CAD software
• Establish time standards for production processes
• Develop manufacturing methods to improve efficiency and utilization
• Analyze data and develop user-oriented technical solutions
• Coordinate specification reviews, sign-offs, and implementation processes
• Support setup, testing, and troubleshooting of machining programs
• Provide guidance in resolving complex operational issues
• Prepare and track cost estimates versus actual costs in collaboration with accounting
• Develop cost estimates based on customer RFQs, drawings, and specifications
• Create and maintain documentation including travelers, setup sheets, and process logs
• Support job setup, debugging, and optimization on machines
• Track research and development activities
• Support product realization reviews as needed
