Field Service Technician

The Field Service Technician is responsible for performing installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of pumps, motors, hydraulic valves, and associated piping and electrical systems used in water pumping and booster station facilities. This role supports preventive and predictive maintenance programs, diagnoses pump and motor system issues, and operates service vehicles and equipment to complete field repairs at customer locations. The technician will read and interpret blueprints and technical documentation, maintain accurate service records, and ensure all work is completed safely and efficiently. The position requires regular travel within the assigned territory and the ability to work independently while delivering high-quality service and maintaining strong customer relationships.

• Minimum 3+ years of mechanical and/or electrical maintenance experience
• Strong mechanical aptitude with pump, motor, or hydraulic system experience
• Ability to work independently in a field service environment
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and service manuals
• Valid driver’s license

• Ability to travel up to 50% overnight within assigned territory
• Ability to operate service vehicles, forklifts, cranes, and related equipment
• Ability to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on pumps, motors, and valves
• Ability to maintain accurate service documentation and records
• Ability to work safely while handling tools, equipment, and mechanical sys
