Description

The Project Manager supports full project execution by assisting with scheduling, budgeting, coordination, documentation, and close-out activities across mission-critical construction projects. This role works closely with Project Managers, customers, vendors, superintendents, safety teams, and consultants to ensure effective communication, accurate documentation, and adherence to safety, quality, and project standards throughout the project lifecycle. The Assistant Project Manager helps manage project setup, tracking, procurement support, reporting, and close-out processes using Procore, while gaining exposure to all aspects of project management in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Must-Have Skills, Experience, and Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field, or equivalent education and experience
• 3–5 years of experience supporting project management or construction operations
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Intermediate understanding of power distribution, low-voltage systems, and general construction requirements
• Proficiency with estimating software and project management tools
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

Requirements:
• Ability to support project scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, and documentation
• Experience assisting with stakeholder communication and project meetings
• Familiarity with Procore for project setup, documentation, and reporting
• Ability to assist with safety planning, including JHAs, safety plans, and project orientation support
• Experience reviewing submittals and tracking compliance with schedules and contract documents
• Ability to support cost tracking, invoice review, and scope change documentation
• Willingness to travel approximately 20% to job sites

Nice-to-Have Skills, Experience, and Education:
• Military experience in mission-critical or operational environments
• Experience supporting data center, power, or mission-critical infrastructure projects
• Familiarity with procurement coordination and material buy-out support
• Experience assisting with estimating kickoffs, bid reviews, or proposal development
• Prior experience supporting project close-out documentation and customer turnover
