Facility Security Coordinator

The Facility Security Coordinator is responsible for ensuring compliance with Transportation Security Administration (TSA) regulations within a Certified Cargo Screening Facility (CCSF). This role oversees cargo screening compliance activities, training records, audit processes, and operational monitoring to support secure and compliant cargo operations.

The position requires strong administrative capabilities, leadership experience, attention to detail, and the ability to manage compliance programs within a fast-paced logistics and transportation environment.

• Prior Non-Commissioned Officer (NCO) / prior enlisted military leadership experience preferred

Requirements

• Ensure cargo screeners and supervisors complete required TSA training and maintain training documentation
• Conduct written and electronic assessments of screening issues and resolutions
• Perform daily reviews of cargo screening logs for accuracy and completeness
• Compare airway bills and cargo screening records to verify all cargo is screened properly
• Ensure compliance with TSA regulations regarding continuous x-ray image examination time limits
• Monitor CCTV footage of cargo screening operations for required time periods
• Conduct weekly internal audits and unannounced inspections of designated screening areas
• Coordinate monthly audits with independent auditors and maintain required records
• Monitor cargo screening operations during CCTV outages or equipment failures
• Support TSA inspections and maintain regulatory compliance documentation

• Military background in aviation, logistics, security, QA, safety, or maintenance management programs
• Experience with 3MC programs or similar military maintenance management systems
• Experience working in transportation, cargo, freight, or logistics environments
• Familiarity with TSA cargo screening regulations and compliance standards
