Loss Control Representative

Northeast
US Navy, E-9

When it came time to retire, I was unprepared to look for employment. I had been planning on joining the family business in south Florida, and, at the last minute, things changed for my family. I was due to leave the military at the end of May, and I was very concerned about finding a decent job that would allow me to provide for my family but still enjoy being home after a 22-year military career.

Mike Wooster steered me into a job that exceeded my expectations and was there every step of the way to assist me. He was extremely professional and accommodating. Also, I cannot begin to say enough about the hiring conference I attended. I felt that Orion brought several high-quality companies to the table. And, in the end, they were competing for me; not the other way around.

Orion was far and away the best of all the recruiting firms that I considered working with. Only Orion stands out as meeting ALL of my needs and desires. Most seemed only slightly interested in considering what I was looking for, and instead were only interested in placing me with one of their clients.

I was the department Master Chief of a department of approximately 375 nuclear trained enlisted sailors and officers. Without Orion, I would be working in the operations segment of the nuclear power industry, and that is NOT what I was interested in doing. I fully intend to inform all who I served with of this valuable resource, as they, too, prepare to exit the military.
