Production Supervisor

Midwest
US Army, O-2

My entire hiring process, from first contact to job offer, took three weeks. Just a few days after the interview, I got the best call I've ever had telling me that I had earned the job! The best part is that it isn't just a job, but something that will turn into a real long term and stable career as a Production Supervisor with a phenomenal company, Guardian Industries. I am very excited to move to Texas and begin my new career!

The military has prepared me for my career in ways that the civilian world never would have. I'm 25 years old, and I already understand much more than my college friends about being a team player. I learned how to effectively manage and train a team, as well as lead them, mentor, guide, and learn from them.

The most important lesson that I learned in the military is that everyone has something to teach you. You must always be willing to actively listen and engage not just your boss, but your peers and subordinates, as well. This will benefit me, especially as I enter the manufacturing industry where I have little experience, but will work with people who have worked there for years.

I am very happy with the Orion process. My recruiters were very helpful and professional, and they really understood my needs. They were very involved with the entire interview, hiring, and negotiating stages of the process and always kept me well informed with what was going on.

I was never left in the dark, and they made sure that I was as well prepared as possible going into it. Orion found me a company that fits perfectly with my personality and abilities.  They married me up with a company that fits my needs and will allow me to grow and develop professionally in the coming years.
