Project Engineer

West
US Army, O-3

I learned of Orion International through a fellow Captain in my Battalion and went on to work with Katrina Phruksukarn and Bill Fitzgerald. Both Katrina and Bill exceeded my expectations. I always felt welcome to call with questions and felt a mutual respect between us. My needs drove their direction with me. I want a career in construction management and, with Katrina's and Bill's help, have found exactly that.

I first met Katrina on Ft. Lewis and gave her my resume, which she read. Over the next few weeks, she helped make into a presentable document. (My resume writing skills were poor at the time, and Katrina definitely changed that for me.) I had just missed a recent hiring conference but was invited by Katrina to attend another in mid-November. I worked with her and Bill over the phone for the next couple of months and went to the conference. I had three interviews. ACCO took an interest in me, and, from there, I continued to update Bill on my status after successive interviews that took place with them.

Thanks to Orion, I will be a Project Engineer, and I couldn't be happier. I would recommend Orion to anyone, and specifically Katrina and Bill as recruiters. They are both top-notch professionals. They both actually care if you get hired. They both helped my transition tremendously, and I am thankful to have had them on my side during a tenuous couple of months.
