Position Details:
Location: Litchfield, IL
Shift: M - Th Night Shift (6:00PM – 5:30AM)
Pay: $21-$28/hr., +$1 shift differential for Night Shift
$45k - $60k annually before OT

Position Description: Maintenance Technician
The Maintenance Technician performs electro-mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic trouble shooting, repair, and general preventative maintenance on all facility, plant, and warehouse equipment. They will repair and/or replace defective parts and maintain inventory for essential parts as needed. This may include the fabrication of special functional or functional parts as required. They will implement and conduct a preventative maintenance program to include training production associates on equipment operation and processes. Overall, they are responsible for product/quality/process improvement efforts and will participate in improvement and problem-solving teams to recommend changes in processes, procedures, materials, and equipment as well as their implementation. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Requirements:
• Associates Degree or 2-4 years of related work experience (military service applicable)
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety manuals, operating and maintenance instructions, procedural manuals, and communicate information concisely
• Strong electro-mechanical aptitude and understanding of electricity
• Familiarity using multi-meters, amp meters, ohm meters, and other tools. Able to troubleshoot and service AC/DC/VFD motors, controllers, drives, boards, switches, transformers, contactors, relays, and fuses.
• Able to read and understand schematics
• Possess strong analytical and numerical ability and show attention to detail and accuracy
• Demonstrated ability to work with and train others, works well in a team environment
• Available and willing to work over-time when scheduled
