TJ Freno

Vice President, Sales

TJ Freno serves as Vice President of Sales for Orion Talent, where he leads a national team focused on connecting transitioning service members, veterans, and skilled professionals with leadership and technical roles across a wide range of industries. Since joining Orion, TJ has advanced through multiple sales and leadership positions, including Account Executive, Strategic Account Manager, and Regional Sales Manager, before assuming his current role in 2022.

With nine years of experience in talent acquisition and workforce solutions, TJ has built deep expertise in military search and strategic programs that help companies harness the unique skills and experience of military talent. His leadership reflects a strong commitment to partnership, performance, and creating meaningful career pathways for veterans nationwide.

Before joining Orion, TJ served seven years on active duty in the U.S. Army, where he held the rank of Captain. He completed two deployments, supporting Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan and Operation United Assistance in Liberia, and was a member of both the 101st Airborne Division and the 1st Infantry Division.

TJ earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Morehead State University. He lives in Kentucky with his wife and their two sons. A passionate University of Kentucky fan, he enjoys coaching youth football and baseball and spending time outdoors hunting waterfowl, deer, and turkey.
