  • Prepare NDE procedures.
  • Perform all required duties of a Radiation Safety Officer per 10CFR34.

  • Determine feasibility of alternative NDE requirements.
  • Provide technical support to Level I/Level II personnel, as applicable, including the recommendations for new equipment which would improve NDE processes.

  • Minimum eight years of Non-Destructive Examination, experience as an SNT-TC-1A level III in MT, PT, VT, and RT disciplines. SNT-TC-1A level III status in UT and LT disciplines is desirable.
  • NSTR-99 certification in PT and RT will be expected within 6 months after hire date.
  • Must meet 10CFR34 requirements for a Radiation Safety Officer.
  • Current IRRSP card holder with 2,000 hours of isotope experience is required.

Engineer – Turbocharger
 to provide expert technical services,
including maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) support, for turbocharger
products. This essential role ensures operational stability for industries such
as military and defense, first responders, and global supply chain

Key Responsibilities
·        Perform Assembly and Disassembly: Execute
precise assembly and disassembly of turbochargers and their components,
following manufacturer instructions.
·        Inspect and Diagnose Issues: Identify
wear, damage, and mechanical problems to determine necessary repairs.
·        Conduct Maintenance and Repairs: Perform
routine maintenance, cleaning, reconditioning, and part replacement to ensure
optimal turbocharger performance.
·        Prepare Technical Reports: Document
detailed findings on turbocharger conditions and the work performed.
·        Ensure Quality Control: Verify that
all work meets quality and safety standards.
·        Provide Customer Support: Offer
technical advice and support to customers onsite and remotely.
·        Lead and Mentor Teams: Guide small
technician teams when needed, fostering productivity and professional
development.
·        Travel Extensively: Be prepared for
up to 75% travel, including domestic and occasional international
trips, with occasional weekend work.
 
Education, Required
Knowledge, & Skills
·        Education: Recognized electrical or
mechanical certification from an accredited trade school, military training
institution, or associate degree in a related field.
·        Experience: At least 3 years
of hands-on experience
 with turbochargers (ABB, MAN, NAPIER, MET,
etc.), marine diesel engines, or similar mechanical systems. A combination of
education and experience may be considered.
·        Skills: Strong technical
understanding of turbocharger systems, effective problem-solving, attention to
detail, and the ability to write detailed technical reports.
·        Other Requirements: Valid driver’s
license and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and
work in various weather conditions.

We are seeking a full time Quality Engineer to join our team! This is an on-site position reporting to our Florence, NJ location.

Essential Duties of the Quality Engineer:

  • Review proposal work scope, drawings, and contract requirements for manufacturability. Review technical contract package for proper incorporation of technical requirements.
  • Develop and evaluate alternate methods and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Implement planned controls of in-process quality. Conduct evaluations of quality capabilities of operations, processes, and measuring equipment through process or machine capability studies and evaluate results.
  • Identify causes of chronic manufacturing problems through statistical analysis providing corrective action improvement recommendations.
  • Implement routine statistical methodology for in-process control and product acceptance.
  • Implement the contract quality requirements through the incorporation of pass down requirements in purchase orders.
  • Conduct sub-tier supplier quality system audits at the supplier's location.
  • Manage and implement company's internal audit program.
  • Analyze audit data and advise appropriate personnel when their performance departs from standards. Follow-up to ensure that effective corrective action has been taken.
  • Evaluate and provide disposition of customer trouble records.
  • Assist in the resolution of inspection problems related to process planning instructions.
  • Assist with the timely disposition of material certifications and/or certificates of compliance.
  • Assist with the timely preparation of history books and resolve technical issues associated with this documentation.
  • Serve as the customer contact with respect to quality issues related to the orders to which the Quality Engineer is assigned.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

Education: B.S. in Engineering, preferably in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering strongly desired.

Experience:

Some exposure to a heavy manufacturing environment is desirable.

Other Skills & Abilities:

This position requires knowledge of basic engineering principles and their application to industrial problems. Must have the ability to recognize quality problems in the pre-production stage and make recommendations for their elimination or solution. Also, must be able to work effectively with others in a project group environment.
