As a Boiler and Machinery Authorized Inspector, your responsibilities will include:
• Performing inspections of boilers and pressure vessels as required by the American Society of Mechanical Engineering Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code (ASME) Sections III, including referenced construction codes and standards of our clients.
• Performing new construction, repair, alteration and jurisdiction inspections of boilers and pressure vessels.
• Performing inspections to foreign codes.
• Scheduling inspections as assigned.
• Training for 12-14 weeks through the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) training/certification course.
• Performing 120 hours of on-the-job training with another Inspector to complete training process.

Position Details:
Location: Natchez, MS
Salary: $57.4K + OT. Company car, computer, and phone will be provided after training is completed.
Travel: Required – occasional overnights, depending on territory.

Requirements:
• Must have a high school diploma and equivalent (Military) work experience, or a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Must have 3-5 years of boiler and/or high pressure steam and water system maintenance and operation experience.
• Must have 4+ years of mechanical experience with Boilers and Pressure Vessels in a power plant, either Nuclear or conventional.
• Must have 3+ years of experience as a MM/BT, or an SRO and/or a Steam PPWO/EOOW.
• Must be a Navy Nuke EM or ET with a minimum of 6 years qualified SRO experience.
• Must be able to perform Quality Assurance inspections of mechanical equipment, water and steam systems.
• Must have knowledge of boiler and/or steam system maintenance and operation.
• Must be able to perform inspections on mechanical, electrical, refrigeration, and air conditioning systems.
• NBIC Boiler Inspector Qualification a plus.
• Must have insurance inspection service experience involving risk-based inspections and analysis
• Must have good computer skills: Microsoft Office and web based applications, Lotus Notes.
• Must have good communication skills, including e-mail, telephone, and face-to-face communication.

As a Loss Control Inspector, your responsibilities will include:
• Conducting regulatory and risk assessment inspection on insured equipment.
• Inspecting risks for the purpose of jurisdictional requirements and risk assessment activities to determine both insurance exposures as well as regulatory compliance to State pressure vessels laws.
