As a Loss Control Inspector, your responsibilities will include:
• Perform new construction, repair, alteration and jurisdiction inspections of boilers and pressure vessels inspections of boilers and pressure vessels as required by the American Society of Mechanical Engineering Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code (ASME Code) Sections III, and National Board Code including referenced construction codes and standards at our clients.
• May also perform inspections to foreign codes
• Schedule inspections as assigned

Position Details
Location: Grand Rapids, MI
Salary: $57K-$65K and OT. Company car, computer, and phone service will be provided after training is completed.
Training: 12-14 weeks training for the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME)/National Board training/certification commissions. 120 hours of on-the-job training with another Inspector to complete training process
Travel: Local area, but occasional overnights, depending on territory.
Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Retirement Plan, Incentive Savings Plan (ISP) / 401(k), Tuition Assistance.
Career Progression: The career path is very well defined, and you can rise within the organization at a good pace as you build your expertise and management skills. Master Coordinator to Generation Dispatcher to Power Director to Master Dispatcher to Shift Supervisor, then Manager in one of several divisions.

Position Requirements
• Boiler and/or high-pressure steam and water system maintenance and operation experience.
• Mechanical experience with Boilers and Pressure Vessels in a power plant, either Nuke or conventional.
• MM, or an SRO and/or a Steam PPWO/EOOW 3+ years.
• Quality Assurance inspections of mechanical equipment, water and steam systems.
• Boiler and/or steam system maintenance and operation.
• Inspections on mechanical, electrical, refrigeration, and air conditioning systems.
• Computer skills: Microsoft Office and web-based applications, Lotus Notes.
• Communication skills: email, telephone, and face to face communication.
• Technically sound, and willing to work on both admin and maintenance/ops.
• Good organization skills.
• Able to be a team player.
• Have a clean driving record and good credit.
