Location: Report from home. Looking for candidates on the East Coast.
Schedule: Typically, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM – must have flexibility for weekend work. If you work a weekend, you’ll get some time during the week off.
Compensation: $25.00 - $34.00 per hour + OT + Company Car & Credit Card + $50 Daily Per Diem

Travel: 75% travel. Must be a road warrior! All travel covered in full by the company (credit card provided) You can use travel points for personal use (free vacations!)
As a Field Service Technician, you will be based out of your home and travel to customer locations to facilitate the installation of new equipment including electrical, electronic, mechanical, and vision systems. The company is the specialist for system solutions and automation technology on running webs and belts. They rank among the worldwide leading suppliers of control, guiding, and inspection systems for the textile, paper,
corrugating, film, tire, rubber, non-woven, and printing industries. As Field Tech you will be responsible for the start-up of equipment and training of individuals on its operation. You will also provide regular preventative and corrective maintenance to customers on a planned and as-needed basis utilizing strong troubleshooting skills to effectively identify and correct faults. You will travel to client sites and have the opportunity for international travel as well.

You will travel to their headquarters in Duncan, SC for 2-3 weeks to receive extensive training on their equipment. From there you will have the ability to shadow senior techs for a couple of months until you are ready to hit the ground running and work independently in the field.
Requirements:
- Working knowledge of electrical circuits, electronic devices, motors, motor control, inverter drives, sensors, and cameras.
- Must be able to read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
- Must have strong customer service skills.
- Ability to travel overnight and internationally when needed.
