Position Details:
Title: Construction Project Manager
Location: Memphis, TN (this is a local 18 month fulltime position in Memphis after the site is finished will be traveling to other sites)
Shift: M-F with some weekends maybe required
Compensation: Salaried, Non-Exempt
$180K to $200K annual salary

Position Description
The Project Construction Manager will oversee the construction phase of the Titan 350/PGM 130 Power Plant with SCR, a state-of-the-art energy facility. This role is responsible for managing all on-site construction activities, ensuring the project is completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in power plant construction, with a proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale energy projects.
Key Responsibilities
• Project Oversight: Manage all aspects of the construction process, including planning, scheduling, and execution of the Titan 350 Power Plant buildout.
• Team Leadership: Supervise and coordinate multidisciplinary teams, including contractors, subcontractors, engineers, and site personnel, to ensure seamless project delivery.
• Safety Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to safety regulations and protocols, maintaining a zero-incident work environment in compliance with OSHA and industry standards.
• Budget and Schedule Management: Monitor project budgets, control costs, and ensure adherence to the project timeline, identifying and mitigating risks that could lead to delays or cost overruns.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure all construction work meets design specifications, engineering standards, and regulatory requirements for power plant operations.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise with project owners, engineers, architects, and regulatory bodies to ensure alignment on project goals and compliance with permits and environmental regulations.
• Resource Management: Oversee the procurement and allocation of materials, equipment, and labor to maintain project efficiency.
• Progress Reporting: Provide regular updates to senior management and stakeholders on project milestones, challenges, and solutions.
• Problem Resolution: Address and resolve on-site issues promptly, including technical challenges, labor disputes, or supply chain disruptions.
• Commissioning Support: Collaborate with commissioning teams to ensure a smooth transition from construction to operational phases.
Qualifications
• Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in power plant construction, with at least 5 years in a leadership or managerial role on projects of similar scale and complexity.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., PMP, CCM) are a plus.

• Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of power plant construction processes, including turbine installation, electrical systems, cooling systems, and structural engineering.
• Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead large, diverse teams and manage complex, high-stakes projects under tight deadlines.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for coordinating with stakeholders and preparing detailed reports.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and decision-making skills to address unforeseen challenges and maintain project momentum.
• Software Proficiency: Experience with project management tools (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project) and construction management software.
Preferred Skills
• Experience with gas-fired or combined-cycle power plants.
• Prior work on projects involving high-voltage systems
Work Environment
• Primarily field-based at the the Titan 350/PGM 130 Power Plant with SCR Power Plant construction site.
• Requires frequent site inspections, exposure to outdoor conditions, and occasional travel.
• Ability to work extended hours, including weekends, to meet project deadlines.
