• Team Leadership: Supervise and coordinate commissioning teams, including technicians, engineers, and vendor representatives, to ensure efficient and safe execution of commissioning activities.
• Safety Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to OSHA regulations, NFPA 70E standards, and site-specific safety protocols during commissioning activities to maintain a zero-incident environment.
• Quality Assurance: Verify that all systems are installed and commissioned in accordance with engineering specifications, manufacturer guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
• System Integration: Ensure seamless integration of mechanical, electrical, and control systems, including SCADA and DCS, for reliable plant operation.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues during commissioning, such as equipment malfunctions, system inefficiencies, or integration failures.
• Coordination: Collaborate with construction managers, electrical and mechanical superintendents, and engineering teams to address punch list items and ensure a smooth transition from construction to commissioning.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed records of commissioning activities, including test results, system performance data, and compliance reports, to support project closeout and regulatory audits.

Preferred Skills
• Experience commissioning gas-fired or combined-cycle power plants.
• Familiarity with advanced control systems, such as PLCs or DCS, and high-voltage commissioning protocols.
• Proficiency with commissioning software and diagnostic tools for performance testing.
Work Environment
