Position Summary:
As a Diesel Technician Instructor, you will train new and current technicians on Class 5–8 equipment diagnostics, repairs, and safety for a major fleet customer. You’ll deliver hands-on and classroom training, support technician development, and help maintain training facilities and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct training for company technicians, customer techs, and technicians from other Freightliner dealers.
- Partner with service managers to identify training needs.
- Develop or source training programs and inform techs about training options.
- Deliver training through classroom instruction, virtual learning, and on-the-job coaching.
- Provide participant feedback and maintain training facilities/equipment.
- Attend continuing education and career events.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Freightliner M2 Expert Certification and ASE Master Certification required.
- Minimum 1 year of related or industry experience required.
- 5+ years of dealership experience preferred.
- 2+ years of training experience with classroom presentation preferred.
