Position Description
Responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing complex semiconductor manufacturing equipment to meet production and yield goals. This role supports various metrology toolsets with hands-on diagnostics and performance improvement tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain Chandler Fab metrology toolsets, including:
- KLA: SP1, AIT, 6100/6200, F5X, Flexus, 2367, 8920 Altair, P2XH, HRP-220, Prometrix UV1xx0
- Rudolph: Ellipsometer VII, Metapulse, NSX330
- Keithley: Quantox
- Biorad: FTIR
- Applied Materials: SEMVision G3
- Conduct routine and corrective maintenance with minimal supervision
- Troubleshoot complex electromechanical systems daily
- Monitor and improve equipment availability and performance
- Maintain logs, reports, and records of machine status and repair actions
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience working on metrology tools
- Strong electromechanical and diagnostic skills
- Able to troubleshoot and repair equipment without manuals or guides
- Familiarity with semiconductor manufacturing environments and KPIs
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team
- Self-starter with a strong desire to grow and contribute
