Position: Electrical Technician
Location: Pueblo, CO
Shift: 12-hour shifts (7–7) on a 2-2-3 rotating schedule; rotates days/nights every 28 days with every other weekend off.
Compensation: $31–$36+/hr DOE + shift differential (2nd: +$0.30/hr, 3rd: +$0.45/hr, Sun: 1.5x) + OT.

Overview: Join as a Mill Electrical Technician providing electrical, electronic, and combustion-instrumentation maintenance to support safe, efficient mill operations. Reports to Superintendent of Maintenance.
Key Duties:
- Perform duties across Combustion-Instrumentation, Electronic Repair, or Electrical Inspection roles.
- Troubleshoot, repair, assemble, install, and maintain mill equipment.
- Operate Electric Shop, Combustion Lab, and Electronic Shop tools and mobile equipment.
- Follow lockout/tagout procedures; maintain clean work areas.
- Operate overhead cranes and assist with routine maintenance.
- Work indoors/outdoors in varied conditions (heat, cold, noise, gases, chemicals, molten metal).
- Obtain/maintain OSHA 10 and equipment certifications.
Requirements:
- Military electrical/electronic background strongly preferred.
- Good knowledge of Ohm’s Law; experience with PLCs, VFDs, or 480V electrical systems is a plus.
- Completion of, or military equivalent to, an apprenticeship in Combustion-Instrumentation, Electronic Repair, or Electrical Inspection.
- 1–3 years’ experience in heavy industry, manufacturing, or mining.
- Valid CO driver’s license and mobile equipment qualification.
- Pass Ramsay test during hiring.
- Strong troubleshooting and repair skills; ability to work independently and manage tasks.
- Physically able to climb, stoop, kneel, lift up to 75 lbs., and work in demanding environments.
