Position Summary:
The Maintenance Manager oversees and coordinates preventive and corrective maintenance to maximize equipment uptime and minimize unplanned downtime. This hands-on leadership role manages mechanical and electrical teams, develops maintenance schedules, controls budgets, ensures safety compliance, and supports training for operators and staff.

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and assign daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance tasks; coordinate machine downtime with Production Management.
- Maintain parts inventory and control costs to budget.
- Supervise maintenance personnel, approve time records, and manage staffing decisions including hiring, promotions, and discipline.
- Implement predictive and preventive maintenance programs; ensure timely repairs.
- Recommend capital improvements and assist with equipment design and installation.
- Ensure team is trained to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues; lead operator-level maintenance training.
- Maintain safety standards and compliance; promote a clean and injury-free work environment.
- Provide updates in production meetings; communicate clearly with internal teams and external vendors or contractors as needed.
Requirements:
- Associate degree or technical certification required; bachelor’s in engineering preferred.
- 5+ years’ experience in equipment and electrical maintenance in corrugated manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of corrugated/packaging equipment, mechanical and electrical systems.
- Proven supervisory experience in coaching, training, and performance management.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and manufacturing systems/software.
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with flexible hours as needed.
