Position Title: CNC Operator
Location: Carson City, NV
Shifts Available: Second and Third Shifts
Pay Range:
- Entry-level: $20.00 – $22.00 per hour
- Skilled operators: up to $27.00 per hour
- Shift Differentials:
- Monday – Friday: +$2.00/hr
- Tuesday – Saturday or Sunday – Thursday: +$3.00/hr
- Thursday – Monday: +$4.00/hr
Position Overview:
The company is hiring CNC Operators to join their high-performing team in Carson City. In this role, you will set up and operate CNC machines to manufacture precision parts supporting critical aerospace, energy, and defense operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC machines under supervisor guidance
- Load programs and perform basic edits as needed
- Inspect parts to ensure they meet specifications using micrometers, calipers, and other measuring tools
- Replace cutting tools, adjust feeds and speeds, and perform routine maintenance
- Maintain safety, quality, and 5S housekeeping standards
- Complete inspection documentation and follow company procedures
Qualifications:
- Verifiable CNC operating experience
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English (required for FAA compliance)
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Must provide proof of US person status (US passport, birth certificate, or green card)
