Position Details
  • Title: Service Technician
  • Locations: Indianapolis, IN | Northern WI (Greenville/Appleton – near Green Bay)
  • Shift: Monday – Friday, Dayshift
  • Compensation:
    • Level 1 Technician: $24–$27/hr
    • Level 2 Technician: $27–$31/hr
  • Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision
  • Travel: Local travel; home every night. Occasional on-call shifts may be required.


Position Overview | Service Technician
As a Service Technician, you’ll play a vital role in supporting our clients by installing, commissioning, maintaining, and repairing industrial power systems—including batteries, chargers, inverters, and static switches. You’ll ensure these critical systems perform at their best, helping businesses maintain operational reliability and uptime.
This is a local service role where you’ll be home each night, with occasional on-call shifts.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Install and commission battery systems and related power equipment at customer sites.
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance and inspections to ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair system malfunctions with minimal downtime.
  • Conduct battery testing and evaluations, recommending corrective actions as needed.
  • Maintain detailed service records, including parts usage and work performed.
  • Train and support customers on equipment operation and maintenance best practices.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies during field service activities.


Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or associate degree in electrical or mechanical engineering preferred.
  • Previous experience servicing industrial power systems (batteries, chargers, inverters) strongly preferred.
  • Solid understanding of electrical systems, schematics, and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals and diagrams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Willingness to travel locally and flexibility to support on-call schedules as needed.
