Position Description:
The Mechanical Assembler is responsible for the assembly, testing, disassembly, inspection, and painting of enclosed drive gearboxes used in energy, infrastructure, and defense industries.
• Perform labor activities in the assembly & test departments
• Disassemble and inspect gearboxes
• Assemble and test gearbox units
• Perform deburring, cleaning, and painting tasks
• Eliminate waste and reduce cycle time through continuous improvement
• Coordinate with Purchasing, Quality, and Engineering to resolve issues quickly
• Provide feedback on discrepancies, drawing errors, and quality issues
• Promote a culture of safety, cleanliness, and environmental compliance
• Foster teamwork and collaboration across departments

• Proficiency in basic math including fractions, decimals, ratios, and percentages
• Ability to present information effectively in one-on-one and small group settings
• High school diploma or equivalent required; 0–2 years of relevant experience
