Job Description
The Director of Site Maintenance is responsible for planning, directing, and monitoring all activities of the Clean Energy Center (CEC) Maintenance Department to ensure maintenance is performed efficiently, safely, and in full compliance with company policies and all state and federal regulations.
This leadership role establishes policies and procedures to meet regulatory, insurance, and quality requirements, while driving operational excellence and alignment with corporate goals. The Director works closely with the CEC Senior Management team to develop and implement maintenance strategies that support organizational and fleet-wide objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and oversee the daily operations of the Maintenance Department.
• Ensure compliance with all Quality, Regulatory, and Safety requirements.
• Direct implementation of the Work Management process, including scheduling, detailed planning, coordination, and execution of maintenance activities.
• Provide oversight for the CEC supply function.
• Serve as an active member of the Maintenance functional area peer group to drive performance improvement and consistency across the fleet.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to achieve business goals and operational efficiency.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical, or Nuclear) or related science — or equivalent qualification per ANSI/ANS-3.1-2014 (Sections 4.1.1.1 & 4.1.1.2).
• Minimum of 12 years total experience, including:
– 4 years in power plant operations
– 4 years in nuclear power plant experience
– 3 years in supervisory or managerial roles
• Must meet additional qualifications outlined in ANSI/ANS-3.1-2014 Section 4.2.3.
• Ability to maintain minimum or unescorted access requirements as applicable, along with favorable medical and/or fitness evaluations per position duties.
