Job Description
The Field Service Technician provides on-site calibration, installation, and minor repair services for industrial weighing equipment, control systems, and peripheral devices. This role is essential to ensuring customer equipment operates accurately, safely, and reliably while delivering a high level of customer service. Technicians may work independently or as part of a regional field service team.
Must-Have Skills, Experience, and Education
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with electronics, electrical systems, HVAC, PLCs, or similar technical skill sets
- Strong mechanical, electrical, and electronic troubleshooting abilities
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize service calls
- Clean driving record
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Willingness and ability to obtain a Class B Commercial Driver’s License
Nice-to-Have Skills, Experience, and Education
- Previous experience servicing industrial scales or measurement equipment
- Experience with material handling systems or control systems
- Customer-facing field service experience
- Familiarity with calibration procedures and documentation
