Title: Maintenance Technician – Mechanical
Location: Albany, NY (Delmar/Feura Bush)
Shift or Travel: Initially Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM (training); then transitions to a 3-on, 3-off, rotating 12-hour schedule (days & nights); No travel
Compensation: $38.05/hr during training ? $39.21/hr after certification + built-in OT (weekly over 40 hrs) + annual raises; 1st-year expected compensation: $85K–$100K+

Position Description:
Join the maintenance team at a high-volume roofing and asphalt plant. Your core focus will be to troubleshoot, maintain, and repair industrial production systems and equipment to support safe and efficient operations. Key responsibilities include:
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment and facility issues in real time
• Perform preventative maintenance to minimize downtime
• Participate in equipment upgrades, safety initiatives, and process improvements
• Assist operators during line cleaning/changeovers to ensure minimal disruption
• Coordinate with external contractors on system installations and services

• High school diploma required
• 2+ years of hands-on industrial maintenance experience
• Strong mechanical and/or electrical/electronic troubleshooting skills
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
• Experience with motors, VFDs, sensors, control panels, robotics, conveyors, gearboxes, etc.
• Must pass a background check and full-panel drug screening
• Strong communication, teamwork, and safety-minded attitude essential
• High school diploma required
• 2+ years of hands-on industrial maintenance experience
