Job Description
The Equipment Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing complex semiconductor manufacturing equipment to achieve process yield and productivity goals. This role provides hands-on support to ensure improved machine availability and performance while working in a cleanroom environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform installation, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of complex electro-mechanical manufacturing equipment.
- Anticipate and diagnose equipment problems to minimize downtime.
- Execute scheduled maintenance procedures and maintain accurate records.
- Interpret and apply electrical and mechanical schematics, diagrams, and operational manuals.
- Ensure compliance with cleanroom protocols and safety procedures.
- Support continuous improvement in equipment reliability and performance.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience with installation, maintenance, repair, or troubleshooting of complex electro-mechanical equipment (semiconductor experience a plus).
- Proficiency in interpreting electrical/mechanical schematics and technical documentation.
- Ability to work in a cleanroom environment with protective gear.
- Strong electromechanical troubleshooting skills with ability to work independently.
- Foundational analytical and problem-solving ability.
- Basic computer proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
- Physical ability to bend, stoop, reach, twist, squat, kneel, climb, and stand for extended periods.
