JOB SUMMARY:
The Supervisor, Quality Inspection will hold a key position in the Quality Department. The individual is responsible for a variety of Quality Management duties Including direct supervision of the Quality Inspector and providing on-the ground support at our 3rd party logistics provider in Plainfield, IN. The Supervisor will ensure Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) compliance by helping develop, execute, and continuously improve the Quality Assurance programs.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITES/ACTIVIES:
  • Assumes responsibility for establishing and maintaining effective, coordination, communication and professional business relations with suppliers, company personnel, management and 3PL.
  • Performs Quality Inspection of product receipts and release documentation for conformity to specifications and dispositions product.
  • Provides clear direction and supervision of the Quality Inspector.
  • Reviews transaction and exception reports to assure 3PL transactions exactly match transactions authorized through SAP. Notifies 3PL and Quality if transactions are missing or unauthorized transactions have been keyed to resolve discrepancies.
  • Inspects product returns and determines what may or may not be returned to stock based on SOP and acceptance criteria.
  • Reviews Certificates of Analysis and Conformance to assure compliance with specifications.
  • Communicates with suppliers to obtain corrected or missing certificates.
  • Conducts nonconformance investigations to determine cause and initiate CAPAs as required.
  • Supervises and shares workload with Quality Inspector to ensure timely completion of job duties.
  • Occasionally supervise and inspect rework/relabel operations to correct non-conformances.
  • Complete and maintain related inspection reports and documentation in an organized and retrievable manner.
  • Assists Quality Managers in updating and generating SOPs to improve GMP compliance at 3PL.

The Supply Planning Coordinator is responsible for maintaining the integrity of the inventory in our SAP system.  This is accomplished via the timely entry of documents and working with our suppliers and distribution center to ensure information in our system is accurate and up to date.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITES
The integrity of the data is maintained via a series of transactions and reports that are viewed daily.   Also required is the ability to problem solve as needed by working with suppliers and the distribution center.  These functions include:

  • Review ZEDI Report and work with Logistics Managers and distribution center to resolve issues
  • Entering of purchase order receipts from overseas suppliers
  • Creation of stock transport orders to coincide with receipts from overseas suppliers
  • Entering of assembly purchase orders and required back flushes
  • Entering of component purchase orders from co-packers
  • Obtaining of required documents from suppliers when not furnished (bill of lading, certificates of analysis, etc.)
  • Work with various inter-company departments (Quality, Packaging, etc.) to resolve issues as they arise
  • Work with Finance department to reconcile inventory at the end of each month
  • Assist Supply Planning department as needed
  • Proficiency in SAP, preferred. 
  • Utilizes SAP MRP for managing supply planning duties. Issues PO’s and forecasts to contract manufacturers.
  • Responsible for inventory management of all finished goods and select components.
  • Responsible for over 30 planning fields in SAP master data.
  • Works with accounting to resolve payment issues, assists in identifying and resolving inventory discrepancies.
  • Resolves discrepancies with quantity, delivery, cost, and quality proactively and reactively.
  • Responsible for various weekly / monthly reports.
QUALIFICATIONS:          
  • Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field or supply chain required.
  • APICS certification a plus

JOB SUMMARY:
The Sr. Manager, Quality Assurance, is a key member of the Quality & Regulatory Affairs team responsible for ensuring the quality, compliance, and continuous improvement of Prestige Consumer Healthcare's medical device and OTC drug product portfolio. This role serves as the primary Quality Assurance lead for assigned brands and contract manufacturing partners, providing strategic quality oversight throughout the product lifecycle, from new product development and commercialization through ongoing manufacturing and post-market support.

This role will apply Quality Assurance, cGMP, and risk management expertise to support existing products and new product introductions while ensuring compliance with applicable FDA regulations, ISO standards, and other global quality requirements. The role is responsible for evaluating and strengthening contract manufacturing partners’ quality systems, leading quality audits, managing quality agreements, and driving resolution of quality and compliance issues.

Success in this position requires strong cross-functional collaboration with internal stakeholders, including Regulatory Affairs, Medical Affairs, Strategic Sourcing, New Product Development, Package Development, Supply Planning, and Logistics, as well as the ability to influence quality outcomes across a network of third-party manufacturing partners.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/ACTIVITIES:

  • Foster close cooperative relationships with all functions in the company relative to quality and GMP compliance.
  • Oversee the application of risk management (ISO 14971) and design controls throughout the medical device product lifecycle.
  • Establish, implement, and maintain comprehensive policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that comply with ISO 13485, FDA 21 CFR Part 820, and EU MDR guidelines.
  • Achieve QA operational objectives by acting as the point of contact for quality matters for assigned brands and/or contract manufacturing partners.
  • Lead QA strategy for assigned brands by studying product requirements; analyzing options for product stability and process validation; recommending, preparing, and presenting corrective action plans; contributing information and opinion to cross-functional teams; preparing implementation plans and timelines.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across contract manufacturing partners quality systems to enhance compliance, efficiency, and product quality.
  • Identify and mitigate quality and compliance risks through the application of risk management principles and proactive quality oversight.
  • Provide strategic quality leadership and recommendations to cross-functional teams supporting product development, commercialization, and lifecycle management.
  • Support new product introductions from a Quality perspective. Reviews and approves documentation associated with the introduction or transfer of a new or existing product to contract manufacturing partners. These include but are not limited to stability protocols, laboratory methods, master batch records, product specifications, method validations, process/packaging and cleaning validation protocols and reports. Ensures that product dossiers are maintained and current.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of contract manufacturing partners quality systems by leading effective audits for cGMP compliance, issuing audit reports, managing contract manufacturing partners response adequacy and timeliness; determining system improvements. Escalates all serious cGMP and regulatory compliance issues to department leadership. Coaches contract manufacturing partners where quality systems are deficient; drive remedial action where necessary.
  • Define the quality obligations and responsibilities of contract manufacturing partners by preparing, negotiating, and reviewing Quality Agreements.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and influence across cross-functional teams and external manufacturing partners to ensure quality, compliance, and business objectives are achieved.
  • Assure the quality of commercial product by reviewing and approving contract manufacturing partners design control, change controls, deviations, nonconformances, and out of specification investigations. Initiates and conducts internal change controls, planned deviations, and investigations where applicable.
  • Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing regulatory and compliance data and trends such as Stability, Complaints, Nonconformance Reports, Deviations, Investigations, CAPA for Annual Product Reviews.
  • Protect organization’s competitiveness by keeping information confidential.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by tracking national and international regulatory/governmental developments; attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.

QUALIFICATIONS:          
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in scientific discipline.
  • 8+ years of Quality Assurance experience within medical devices and/or pharmaceutical manufacturing environments.
  • Knowledge of FDA 21 CFR Parts 211 and 820, FDA Quality Management System Regulation (QMSR), ISO 13485, and applicable medical device and pharmaceutical quality requirements.

ACCOUNTABILITEIS:
  • Perform maintenance and repairs to all molding equipment.
  • Perform a wide range of preventive maintenance and repair work to a variety of electromechanical devices, machinery, PLCs, HVAC, fixtures, hydraulics, pneumatic and furnishings throughout the department.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Maintain machines to ensure that quality product is provided to the production area. Maintain work area in a safe, clean, orderly condition according to GMPs. Properly dispose of used oil, oil soaked pig mats, scrap metal and unusable parts.
  • Perform Visual and Attribute bottle checks to assure Good Quality bottles are produced and supplied to Production and Deco processes.
  • Determine ways to improve efficiencies, quality and safety. Perform variable checks and attribute checks and file all completed documentation as necessary.
  • Monitor and/or evaluate current or potential problems with action plans to eliminate problems. Perform changeovers, PMs, Mattec selections and deduction, electric truck operation, unload storveyor contents and unclog under floor conveyors. Repair and report major oil, air and water leaks, Start-up and Shut down equipment and operation. Track belts, investigate bottle complaints, out-of-spec adjustments, prioritize daily machine production, generate action items and retrieve ordering information. Clear grinder, material and conveyor jams, report out-of-stock items. Minor drafting, fabrication and design, and retrieve documents from Master Control.
  • Attend twice daily shift transition meetings, use log book to record operating issues and maintain good communications within shift. Receive training and train new employees as needed. Log daily work activities in the plant maintenance system. Make calls to the Supervisor at home when necessary. Demonstrate good teamwork ethics by helping others in the Molding Department.
  • Participate with others in the testing or evaluation of raw materials and equipment. Provide feedback pertaining to compatibility and functionality in conjunction with the Molding Supervisor.
  • Perform a variety of cleaning including major oil, grease and water leaks. General cleaning after repairs are completed.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITES/ACTIVTIES:

  • Serve as R&D technical lead for the Breathe Right brand and provide biomechanics and human factors expertise across Prestige's OTC medical device portfolio including oral care, eye care, women's health, dermatology, digestive health, and respiratory brands
  • Co-ideate new claims and indications with Marketing, providing scientific justification and validation strategies in collaboration with Regulatory and Legal teams
  • Develop validation and verification protocols including benchtop testing, wear studies, clinical endpoints, and objective measurement techniques (e.g., rhinometry, bite force analysis, ocular retention, adhesive performance) to support new claims and product launches
  • Participate in cross-functional teams from concept ideation through development, validation, and commercialization, acting as the technical authority in R&D for device performance, mechanism of action, and scientific substantiation

  • Design and execute biomechanical modeling, computational analysis (CFD, FEA), and human factors studies to optimize device performance and validate mechanisms of action for nasal dilators, oral care devices, wearables, applicators, and delivery systems
  • Establish strong technical partnerships with global CDMOs and third-party manufacturers, providing biomechanical specifications, performance standards, and scientific guidance to ensure successful product development and commercialization
  • Provide R&D leadership on patent strategy by conducting preliminary freedom-to-operate assessments, reading and interpreting relevant patents, and collaborating with Legal and patent counsel to support IP clearance and patent filings for innovation projects
  • Build external credibility through conference presentations, peer-reviewed publications, and Key Opinion Leader (KOL) relationships with healthcare professionals to establish Prestige as an evidence-based leader in OTC medical devices
  • Identify and evaluate third-party research partners, testing laboratories, clinical CROs, and academic collaborators that can provide specialized biomechanical, human factors, or clinical validation capabilities
  • Create and maintain technical documentation in collaboration with Quality and Regulatory, including design history files, validation reports, test specifications, and biomechanical justification for regulatory submissions (510(k), design controls, risk management)

QUALIFICATIONS:          
  • MS or PhD degree in Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering (biomechanics focus), Biomechanics, Bioengineering, or related field required
  • 8+ years of post-degree industry experience for MS candidates, or 5+ years of post-PhD industry experience for PhD candidates, in medical device R&D
  • Demonstrated expertise in biomechanics, human factors engineering, and medical device performance
  • Proven experience developing and commercializing Class I and/or Class II medical devices, preferably in OTC consumer healthcare categories

JOB SUMMARY:
The Sr. Manager, Quality Assurance, is a key member of the Quality & Regulatory Affairs team responsible for  ensuring the quality, compliance, and continuous improvement of Prestige Consumer Healthcare's OTC drug and dietary supplement product portfolio. This role serves as the primary Quality Assurance lead for assigned brands  and contract manufacturing partners, providing strategic quality oversight throughout the product lifecycle,  from new product development and commercialization through ongoing manufacturing and post-market  support.

This role will apply Quality Assurance, cGMP, and risk management expertise to support existing products and new product introductions while ensuring compliance with applicable FDA regulations, ISO standards, and other  global quality requirements. The role is responsible for evaluating and strengthening contract manufacturing partners’ quality systems, leading quality audits, managing quality agreements, and driving resolution of quality  and compliance issues.

Success in this position requires strong cross-functional collaboration with internal stakeholders, including Regulatory Affairs, Medical Affairs, Strategic Sourcing, New Product Development, Package Development, Supply Planning, and Logistics, as well as the ability to influence quality outcomes across a network of third-party manufacturing partners.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/ACTIVITIES:
  • Foster close cooperative relationships with all functions in the company relative to quality and GMP compliance.
  • Establish, implement, and maintain comprehensive policies and Standard Operating Procedures SOPs) that comply with FDA 21 CFR Part 111, 210, and 211.
  • Achieve QA operational objectives by acting as the point of contact for quality matters for assigned  brands and/or contract manufacturing partners. 
  • Lead QA strategy for assigned brands by studying product requirements; analyzing options for product stability and process validation; recommending, preparing, and presenting corrective action plans; contributing information and opinions to cross-functional teams; preparing implementation  plans and timelines. 
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across contract manufacturing partners quality systems to  enhance compliance, efficiency, and product quality. 
  • Identify and mitigate quality and compliance risks through the application of risk management  principles and proactive quality oversight. 
  • Provide strategic quality leadership and recommendations to cross-functional teams supporting product development, commercialization, and lifecycle management.
  • Support new product introductions from a Quality perspective. Reviews and approves documentation associated with the introduction or transfer of a new or existing product to contract manufacturing partners.
  • These include but are not limited to stability protocols, laboratory methods, master batch records, product specifications, method validations, process/packaging and cleaning validation protocols and reports.
  • Ensures that product dossiers are maintained and current.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of contract manufacturing partners quality systems by leading effective audits for cGMP compliance, issuing audit reports, managing contract manufacturing partners response adequacy and timeliness; determining system improvements. Escalates all serious cGMP and regulatory compliance issues to department leadership. Coaches contract manufacturing partners where quality systems are deficient; drive remedial action where necessary. 
  • Define the quality obligations and responsibilities of contract manufacturing partners by preparing, negotiating, and reviewing Quality Agreements. 
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and influence across cross-functional teams and external manufacturing partners to ensure quality, compliance, and business objectives are achieved.
  • Assure the quality of commercial product by reviewing and approving contract manufacturing partners change controls, deviations, nonconformances, and out of specification investigations. Initiates and conducts internal change controls, planned deviations, and investigations where applicable.
