Orion Talent, the nation’s largest military recruiting firm, is currently recruiting transitioning or former military professionals for an Electrical Maintenance Technician position with a producer of rebar and related products for the construction industry. Position Details Location: Mesa, AZ (30 min East of Phoenix) Compensation: $31 - $38/hr plus lots of OT built in plus uncapped OT opportunities. Bi-yearly profit share bonus. Relocation available based on experience and location. Shift: 12HR Shifts 6AM - 6PM or 6PM - 6AM/ Dupont Schedule, rotating day, night and weekend, 4 days on 3 days off 3 nights 4 days off, 4 nights on 3 days off, etc. etc. Once you join a team you will have your schedule laid out in front of you for a whole year. Vaccine Requirement: NO Position Description As an Electrical Maintenance Technician, you will work with a strong team to maintain steel production in two brand new steel mill processing plants in Mesa, AZ. You will troubleshoot AC/DC motor controls, PLCs, electrical drives, and all high voltage systems, keeping them all up to the site voltage maximums. Inspect and perform daily maintenance on all shop machinery, mobile equipment, HVAC Systems, PLC networks, and cranes. Position Requirements • High School Diploma or GED required. • AC/DC troubleshooting experience required. • Electrical controls maintenance and repair proficiency. • Must have experience with and the ability to demonstrate electrical maintenance principles, concepts, and troubleshooting techniques. • PLC troubleshooting experience preferred. • Minimum 3 years industrial maintenance experience or military training. • Ability to work with related diagnostic equipment including digital voltmeter, paper recorder, multi-voltmeter, proximity meters, motor starters, AC/DC drives and other electronic tools and equipment. • Able to understand electrical schematics. |
