As an HVAC Equipment Estimator, you will be responsible for computing costs associated with projects. Salary: $45,000-$55,000/yr
Travel Requirements: Primarily working out of the office with minimal travel to client sites or training.

Engineering Specialist (Bellevue, WA)

As an Engineering Specialist, you will be responsible for hardware and software design activities for small building automation systems. You will apply engineering principles and practices for work on assigned projects. You will design cost effective control solutions to meet project requirements. Additional responsibilities will include:
• Responsible for design and programming activities utilizing direct digital controls.
• Responsible for the sequences of operation which meet the project requirements.
• Apply knowledge of engineering principles and practices.
• Generate Operation & Maintenance Manuals.
• Review contract documents and conduct job surveys.
• Create installation drawings, submittal drawings, as-built drawings, and transition to service.

Travel Requirements: Combination of field and office work. Average travel is 3 days overnight a month but it will take place in cycles and not on a routine monthly basis. Must have flexibility to work outside normal work hours/weekends, as required.

As a Project Manager, you will manage all aspects of control projects, from beginning to end, with direct responsibility for project execution while leading a team, or teams, to accomplish specific objectives in a given time frame and with available resources. You will also be responsible for the administration, implementation, and management of control projects and accountable for assigned project’s scope of work, schedule, and budget. Additional responsibilities will include:
• Plan and analyze assigned projects, establish schedules, and project parameters and set procedures to accomplish system objectives, involving complex contracting applications.
• Communicate with customers and their representatives, including building owners, mechanical contractors, subcontractors, and field support staff.
• Examine and review contracts and estimates by performing risk analysis and developing risk plans.
• Establish an operations budget for assigned projects by revising the original estimate based on validated project scope.
• Responsible for maintaining the accuracy of the forecasted cost at completion and controlling expenses by monitoring assigned project budget.
• Create and revise project schedules including: generating tasks, estimates, dependencies; milestones, CPM Analysis; and Histogram Analysis.
• Prepare sub-contractor request for quotations (RFQ) including: scope statements; plans and milestone dates; specs; bonding requirements; and billing schedule of values.
• Receive and qualify subcontractor proposals; supervises work of project assigned staff, subcontractors and installers.
• Generate technician work orders: review plan; review progress; and prioritize tasks.
• Meet with contractors and owners to discuss scope of project; budgets; performance; and close-out.
• Support the sales function by assisting with quote preparation and proposals.
• Responsible for project cash-flow management: progress billing, collections support and monitoring, and resource management.
• Responsible for change order management by recommending solutions, facilitating quotes and closing orders.

Travel Requirements: Primarily local travel to office and jobsites in the greater Seattle area; jobsites can extend to different areas across WA with occasional travel (1-2 Overnights/Month)

Position Description
As a BAS Control Technician, you will be installing (commissioning), troubleshooting, repairing, and programming environmental control systems. In order to perform your task, you will utilize your knowledge of electronics (board level troubleshooting), direct digital controls, airflow, hydronics, refrigeration theory, and building control techniques. Additional responsibilities will include:
• Responsible for end to end testing, programming, starting up, commissioning, and servicing on assigned projects.
• Set up the graphical interface and network connections for the controls.
