Job Description
Pool Servers at Hyatt are responsible for submitting and serving guest menu selections at our vibrant pool areas. The ideal candidate will gain menu knowledge to recommend from our extensive array of cuisine and drink offerings. A Hyatt Pool Server will engage guests in casual conversation, enhancing their poolside experience with attentive service and a friendly demeanor. Additional responsibilities include general pool area preparation and maintaining a sanitary and safe environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide timely, accurate, and friendly service of food and beverage selections to guests poolside.
- Gain and utilize knowledge of menu items and beverage lists to make recommendations to guests.
- Engage in casual conversations with guests, creating a memorable dining experience.
- Prepare the pool area before guests arrive, ensuring a clean and inviting environment.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards throughout the service, adhering to sanitary regulations.
Qualifications:
- A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Refined verbal communication skills.
- Must have physical stamina to lift moderate amounts of weight.
- Ability to stand and move in a dynamic environment for long periods of time.
- Previous service experience is preferred.
- Must be 21 years of age or older
