Job Summary

CBRE Design Collective’s Certifications team is currently looking for a Project Analyst. The purpose of this position is to provide support to project management and administration for third-party sustainability certification projects and ESG Reporting from inception through completion. The successful candidate will assist with all aspects of project work related to sustainability and wellness building certification projects and data management for environmental reporting. We are looking for qualified candidates nationwide as this position requires a highly motivated individual who is comfortable working independently and will work remotely.

What you'll do

  • Support the team in delivering projects that help clients achieve sustainability certifications and reporting goals.
  • Evaluate, track and report status of LEED, WELL, and other third-party certification projects, and manage documentation, including responses to reviewer comments.
  • Work collaboratively with Project Management to complete tasks based on project schedule and project plan, allowing for quality control and feedback to be completed.
  • Create and QA/QC project documents for compliance with building certification requirements, including, but not limited to, LEED, WELL Fitwel & BREEAM.
  • Gather, interpret and analyze environmental performance data including energy, water, and waste utility consumption and costs; benchmark performance; and monitor and report on performance trends.
  • Support the coordination of ESG projects and initiatives at property and portfolio levels. Assist clients in meeting sustainability reporting objectives and measuring sustainability performance.
  • Independently manage your time to stay on track with billable activities, within project budgets and time allocations, and project prioritizations. Exhibit strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail.
  • Develop strong relationships among staff through superior written and verbal communications strategies. Develop relationships with client contacts, such as property teams and asset managers.
  • Function as a highly productive team member in interdisciplinary groups that include technical and non-technical staff.
  • Demonstrate the ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret documents. Requires intermediate analytical and quantitative skills.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree (BA/BS/BEng/BArch) from College or University in a technical area of study preferred.

Experienced with Microsoft Excel (can perform complex functions).
  • 1-3 years’ experience in similar analyst role.
  • Basic understanding of building HVAC and building energy systems
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.


CBRE Carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for this Sustainability Analyst position is $50,000 annually and the maximum salary for this position is $65,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program. This role will provide the following benefits: 401(K), Dental Insurance, Health Insurance, Life Insurance, and Vision Insurance.
