If so, we are seeking an Sr Advisor Internal Communications in which you will develop and implement strategic internal communications that engage and align enterprise employees with Enbridge’s business, strategic priorities, values and culture. What You Will Do:

  • Develop, execute and maintain enterprise-wide strategic internal communications plans for that effectively communicate business priorities through the lens of our enterprise narratives. Includes creative plan development, succinct key message creation, effective channel delivery and measurement reporting.
  • Support executive communications, such as speeches, speaking notes, talking points for HR, and executive team members for HR.
  • Participate in the planning team, with material development, event coordination and communication of large-scale events including the All Company Forum and smaller-scale virtual meetings.
  • Build internal communication content including reports, presentations, employee email messages, videos, podcasts and stories.
  • Lead HR storytelling to build understanding inside Enbridge including story mining, planning and developing engaging content for internal channels including the intranet, email, Viva Engage and digital signs.
  • Monitor and measure internal communications for data-driven insights and reach effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with the Public Affairs, Communications and Sustainability (PACS) group to ensure communications alignment, narrative consistency, editorial planning, and channel effectiveness across stakeholder groups.
  • Stay current on emerging trends and best practices to identify communication opportunities to help improve employee engagement at Enbridge.
  • As a member of the Internal Communications and Employee Engagement team, this role will contribute to overall enterprise communications strategy, editorial planning and back up other team members as needed.


Who You Are:

  • Bachelors’ degree in communications, public relations, journalism or related field.
  • Seven or more years of directly related experience.
  • Experience in and understanding of a large, public company with operations in multiple regions.
  • Solid understanding of internal communication best practices and connection to peers in other organizations to research and apply changes in evolving internal approaches and tactics.
  • Strong communications skills and knowledge, and detailed understanding of communication theory and its application in the effective integration of corporate messages across a variety of media, for a variety of target audiences.
  • Outstanding writing skills, with experience and comfort writing for internal audiences and supporting executive leaders to deliver internal messages.
  • Project management skills including strategic planning, the ability to develop and manage workplans and budgets, coordinate with external suppliers to deliver on time and on budget.
  • Strong analytical skills to quickly analyze complex situations, determine key issues, messages and outcomes, and implement targeted programs.
