Travel: None COVID Vaccination: Not Required Position Description: In this position, you will play important roles in the operation, maintenance and management of sophisticated, state-of-the-art building systems, processes, special projects, building renovation, tenant relations, budgetary planning and team building. Specific duties include: To professionally respond to tenant requests To serve as a Systems Operator and to perform and supervise maintenance work by building technicians, contractors, and vendors To learn and implement skill sets, develop knowledge and apply procedures to maintain eligibility for promotion to positions requiring greater responsibility, authority, and understanding of systems, procedure, and policy On-call rotation (for after hours and weekend trouble calls) // you should expect responsibilities on a 1 week out of 7 rotation basis // payouts for on-call responsibilities is more than market competitive (you are paid 4 hours of straight-time pay just for being in the rotation, regardless of getting a single call...plus you are paid an hour for any call that you take, and for any call that requires you to come into the building you will be paid a minimum of 3 hours of straight-time pay) Job functions include proficiency in the following facets of building operation: Mechanical/Electrical/Plumbing/ and Structural Systems Control systems, electricity, pumps, HVAC Building finishes Tenant relations Work order system Budgeting Variance reporting Energy management Personnel management Life safety systems Construction management Personnel management Life safety systems Construction management Company IAQ, CFC, Hazwaste, Asbestos, & Corporate policies Energy Management systems Time Management Company Quality Standards Qualifications/Requirements: The company is looking for electrical and mechanical technicians with excellent customer service skills. Candidates should have 2+ years of experience in commercial HVAC or related field. Candidates must demonstrate a strong work ethic, initiative, attention to detail, drive for excellence, and excellent communication skills. Candidates must possess good computer skills, strong time management skills, problem solving skills, and excellent interpersonal skills. | |
