Title: Shift Supervisor Location: Pleasant Prairie, WI Shifts: Supervisors typically arrive an hour before shift start and stay 30-60 minutes after for reporting: 2nd shift: 2 pm-10:30 pm Monday - Friday 3rd shift: 10 pm-6:30 am Sunday - Friday Compensation: $60,000 - $70,000 Salary + Bonus + Profit Sharing Benefits: Full benefits + 401(k) Plan with company match + Tuition reimbursement Travel: No travel Position Description: Under the direction of the Production Manager, the Shift Supervisor will be responsible for monitoring, supporting, and directing the work to be performed during the shift, assisting the Production Manager with scheduling work assignments, assistance with employee selection, performance of employee reviews, and administration of work rules. The main focus will be the safety, quality management, and productivity in accordance with the procedures and policies in place: • Maintains workflow by monitoring steps of the process, monitoring personnel and support resources, facilitating resolutions, and initiating and fostering a spirit of cooperation within and between departments. Percent of workday visible on the production floor is approximately 80%, at a minimum completing rounds on the production floor at least once per hour. • Accomplishes results by communicating job expectations, appraising job results, and enforcing systems, policies, standards, and procedures. • Coach, guide, and develop direct reports, and create meaningful feedback discussions that support and enhance employee success. Included in this duty would be 1:1s and Performance Management. Support personnel through avenues such as locks/locker assignment and acquiring safety protective equipment and uniforms. • Completes production by following the scheduling plan and assigning personnel, accomplishing work results, establishing priorities, monitoring progress, and resolving problems. Requirements: • 3-5+ years of production or related experience or equivalent experience in the military. • The proven ability to demonstrate leadership skills, professionalism, and team attitude. • The ability to lead and influence a diverse team. • 2 or 4-year degree or equivalent experience |
