Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Providing for the parts needs of walk-in and phone customers including external and internal Service Department customers. This is a safety-sensitive position. Employees holding this position are responsible for the safe performance of job duties.
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements: • High School diploma or equivalent • Experience in automotive or truck parts/mechanics required • DOT Hazmat General Awareness Certification preferred • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines • Ability to work independently • Forklift Certification is preferred • Strict observance of all company safety policies and procedures Physical Requirements: • Consistently lift and carry a minimum of 50 pounds. • Ability to perform the essential job functions consistent safely and successfully with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards. • Must be able to talk, listen, and speak clearly on telephone and in person • Must be able to bend, climb ladders, crawl, squat, kneel, reach and twist consistently | |
