Orion Talent, the nation’s largest military recruiting firm, is currently recruiting transitioning or former military professionals for a Field Technical Trainer Applications Specialist position with a high-tech solutions company serving nearly every sector of business. Position Details: • Title: Field Technical Trainer Applications Specialist • Location: Charleston, SC or within 1 hour of ANY major airport (headquartered in Michigan) • Compensation: $25-32/hr + OT + Per diem($59/day) and EOY Bonus. Company card provided for hotel/travel expenses. • Benefits: Health/Dental/Vision insurance, PTO. • Shift/Travel: Travel up to 100% of the time based on customer training requirements. Travel and training generally conducted Monday - Friday. Weekends off. Position Description: As a Field Technical Trainer Applications Specialist, you will conduct internal and/or external training courses for both customers, or Company personnel, and provides direct support to the Laser Applications Support team. • Conducts training courses for both customers and Company personnel on the operation and maintenance of laser systems; the use of the entire Company Elements Software suite for programming parts and managing production; as well as other important topic areas as required. • Assists in the development and improvement of training programs, including outlines, guides, procedures, and other resources. • Supports testing of new machine and software features, options, settings, technology, and versions for incorporation into training and field service operations. • Helps develop documentation for distribution to customer and Company personnel to improve their understanding and proper use of Company products. • Supports customers by providing technical counsel and solutions to specific technical issues/Service Tickets. • Understands technical issues to the point of being able to make recommendations and/or refer the matter to a subject expert. • Maintains a positive rapport and business relationship with customers by providing outstanding customer service. Requirements: • 4+ years of military training in any technical background and either Instructor qualified or seasoned in providing structured classes to personnel. • Ability to convey material to large audiences in a seamless, coherent manner. |
