  • Programming and commissioning of Control Systems and Integration with other systems related to building automation.
  • Be well-versed in multiple controls systems as they may be on a different site each day based on the service calls that come in on a daily basis.
  • Communicate directly with the customer in order to satisfy the needs regarding the specifics of what is required to solve the issue on a particular site.
  • Document the services performed on a service call on a FSR (Field Service Report) with details of what the service call consisted of and to document if the call is complete or will require a follow up visit.

Safety
  • Work with Superintendent to create and maintain Safety plan related to current project(s). This includes defining and managing each piece of the process including, but not limited to, daily reports, PPE management, accident management, etc.
  • Work with Superintendent Onsite Safety Manager to develop safety plan specific to project
  • Work with Superintendent, Field Operation Manager, Onsite Safety Manager, Foreman's to ensure that project is adhering to both the project-specific safety plan and company standards.
Quality Control
  • Work with Project Superintendent to create and maintain QA/QC plan related to current project(s). This includes defining and managing each piece of the process including, but not limited to, specification and code compliance, internal punch list management, general contractor punch list management and owner/design team punch list management
  • Work with Project Superintendent and Onsite QA/QC Manager to develop QA/QC plan for a project
  • Work with Project Superintendent, Field Operation Manager and QA/QC manager to ensure that project is adhering to both project specific QA/QC plan and company standards, testing and documentation
  • Responsible for reviewing and analyzing project documents; plans and specifications; directing construction activities; resolving construction challenges; coordinating field installations and project closings; and developing and maintaining client relationships, all within project cost, time and quality standards.

Cost/Change Management
  • Review, price and manage all project scope and coordination changes. Ensure that all pricing is submitted in a manner that meets company, GC and owner standards for the project.
  • Track and follow-up on status of open change orders.
  • Prepare and submit WIP review with operations management team monthly progress and cost tracking reports, including "cost to complete estimates". These reports should be in the format specified by operations management, must be professional and accurate, and must show good management skills.
  • Project Managers are expected to understand and be able to speak to the following monthly:
    • Job set up – complete and correct.
    • Contract amount and contract billings
    • Approved and pending change orders
    • Costs to date - correct job, correct task code
    • Hours to date / Hours to complete, manpower projections

Qualifications
  • BS/Construction Management or equivalent studies/experience preferred 
  • 5+ years of experience in Project Management with an Electrical Contractor required

Position Description Summary:
The Expeditor plays a critical role in ensuring the
timely progression of jobs through the fabrication process, both internally and
with external vendors or subcontractors.  This individual serves as the central point of contact for job status
visibility, proactively identifying and resolving bottlenecks and driving
accountability across departments to maintain schedule integrity and meet
customer delivery expectations.
Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Promote and adhere to the Core
    Values and Behavior Code.
  • Monitor job progress by
    tracking and reporting real-time status of work orders/jobs across all
    stages of the fabrication process, including machining, welding, assembly,
    and finishing.
  • Work closely with production,
    quality, planning, and engineering teams to ensure job priorities are
    understood and executed in line with production schedules.
  • Communicate with Purchasing,
    subcontractors, and vendors to obtain updates on outsourced operations
    (e.g. heat treating, coating, NDT) and ensure on-time delivery back to the
    facility.
  • Identify delays, material
    shortages, or process roadblocks early; escalate and coordinate corrective
    actions to avoid disruption to the production schedule.
  • Help prioritize work across
    departments based on due dates, customer commitments, or critical path
    items.  Step in to complete tasks to
    remove bottlenecks as needed. 
  • Maintain accurate tracking
    tools or status boards.  Provide
    daily or weekly reports to leadership on job progress, late items, and
    potential risks to delivery.
  • Participate in daily/weekly
    production meetings to communicate status updates, highlight concerns, and
    propose solutions.
  • Recommend process improvements
    to reduce lead times, improve communication, and streamline production
    flow.
  • Perform other duties as
    required.
 
 
Position Requirements:
 
Education/Experience:
·        Associate’s degree in a technical
field (bachelor’s degree preferred) or equivalent combination of education and
experience.
·        2+ years’ experience in a technical,
manufacturing, or fabrication environment (welding machining, or related field).
·        Prior experience in production
control, expediting, planning, or coordination roles preferred.
·        Experience or familiarity with
engineering drawings.

What You'll Do:

Position Summary:

We are seeking experienced Machinists with strong capabilities in operating CNC and manual horizontal or vertical boring mills. ALL LEVELS Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 3–5 years of experience, strong blueprint and program-reading skills, and the ability to independently set up and machine large, complex components. This is a hands-on role within a custom, low-volume manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Read and interpret complex shop drawings, blueprints, and machining programs.
  • Understand and troubleshoot G-code and other program instructions to ensure accurate machining.
  • Calculate dimensions, locations, and compound angles using trigonometric functions.
  • Select proper tooling and determine feeds and speeds based on material and tooling type.
  • Understand the scope and timing of each job and execute accordingly.
  • Proactively clarify any unclear or conflicting drawing details.
  • Collect necessary tools, fixtures, and setup materials in advance.
  • Securely and logically set up jobs on machines (may require climbing on equipment and lifting up to 75 lbs, with labor assistance when needed).
  • Coordinate with the foreman to verify all setups before beginning work.
  • Double-check all measurements and calculations for accuracy.
  • Ensure coolant and lubricant levels are adequate; replenish or replace as needed.
