· Minimum 1year of prior professional-level electrical experience as a card-carrying Journeyman Electrician

· Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

THE JOB

As HVAC Service Technician, you are a key front-line member of our team responsible for taking care of our customers by providing them with the highest quality service and maintenance of their home’s HVAC systems. 

Our office team will have your back and help ensure you have sufficient time with each customer to do a thorough and complete job. 

We employ a front-line service system that helps us consistently generate 5-star reviews and exemplifies our code of values by showing respect and courtesy to all customers and team members. 

Once you’re up to speed, we’d love nothing more than to take a hands-off approach and let you do your thing (after the morning huddle, that is)! But if you need to bounce something off the other team members, or if you want the office staff to run interference, we’re here to support you. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain residential HVAC systems
• Ensure proper and efficient use of materials and maintain adequate stock of necessary parts
• Collect payment and/or payment information from customers for work performed
• Keep company vehicle and equipment clean, properly serviced, and in good working condition
• Complete and turn in invoices, daily route sheets, and weekly reports as required
• Perform other duties as needed, which may include cross-training in related positions

REQUIREMENTS

• HVAC and refrigeration knowledge and 3-5 years’ experience
• CFC certification is a plus (or we can help you get it!)
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Ability to lift 60 lbs. independently
• Ability to explain technical issues to homeowners in non-technical terms
• Willingness to communicate with office staff regarding customer needs
• Neat, professional appearance and polite demeanor

As a Residential Service Electrician, you are a key member of our team. Our customers look to your expertise to help solve their issues and build confidence that their home will be safe.

Here are the primary responsibilities for this position:

· You will help customers with various electrical needs, from installations to repairs. This could range from installing basic fixtures to replacing a home's electrical panel and wiring. Note: Complex troubleshooting is often involved so experience as a residential service electrician is a must!

· You are the face of Mr. Electric and will be interacting with the homeowner to deliver the customer service that Mr. Electric is known for.

· You ensure the safety of both yourself and the people you serve, leaving their homes safer than when you first walked in. You'll identify and present opportunities and solutions to the customer to ensure the safety of their family and property.

As a Dispatcher supporting our Aire Serv team, you will be responsible for organizing and managing the daily schedules of our HVAC technicians to ensure timely and efficient service delivery to customers. You’ll monitor real-time service status, adjust schedules as needed, and act as a liaison between technicians, customers, and office staff.
