Travel/Schedule:

As a Gas Operations Technician, you will safely operate, monitor, adjust, troubleshoot, and maintain biogas processing equipment in a pressurized Class I Division 2 environment. The work is more technical than the title suggests and is comparable to pipeline, oil and gas, refinery, utility, and other continuous-process operations. Daily activities include fluid and gas transfer, scrubbing, purification, chemical addition, compression, and equipment maintenance. The goal is to maximize production, minimize downtime, and ensure that renewable natural gas and power-generation output meet quality, safety, cleanliness, and environmental standards.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate and monitor renewable natural gas and power-generation plant systems while maintaining product quality for pipeline injection and electrical generation.
  • Operate, adjust, and monitor blowers, gas pretreatment equipment, chillers, compression systems, scrubbers, purification equipment, pumps, valves, and related process equipment.
  • Complete daily equipment rounds and inspect flow meters, gas chromatographs, fluid levels, pressures, temperatures, vibration, noise, and other operating conditions to identify problems before failure occurs.
  • Tune and adjust plant systems to support production, process stability, efficiency, and environmental compliance.
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and process issues using SCADA, technical manuals, operating data, schematics, and systematic troubleshooting methods.
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance including oil and filter changes, drive belt and hose replacement, valve adjustments, compressor filter service, slide valve work, coupling and bearing replacement, and related repairs.
  • Participate in preventive maintenance outages, equipment overhauls, startups, shutdowns, and emergency repairs.
  • Coordinate maintenance activities with management, operators, and third-party vendors to ensure timely and efficient service.

The Associate Supply Planner will be responsible for supply planning for our smaller brands. The individual will

Success in this position requires strong cross-functional collaboration with internal stakeholders, including Regulatory Affairs, Medical Affairs, Strategic Sourcing, New Product Development, Package Development, Supply Planning, and Logistics, as well as the ability to influence quality outcomes across a network of third-party manufacturing partners.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/ACTIVITIES:

  • Evaluate the effectiveness of contract manufacturing partners quality systems by leading effective audits for cGMP compliance, issuing audit reports, managing contract manufacturing partners response adequacy and timeliness; determining system improvements. Escalates all serious cGMP and regulatory compliance issues to department leadership. Coaches contract manufacturing partners where quality systems are deficient; drive remedial action where necessary. 
  • Define the quality obligations and responsibilities of contract manufacturing partners by preparing, negotiating, and reviewing Quality Agreements. 
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and influence across cross-functional teams and external manufacturing partners to ensure quality, compliance, and business objectives are achieved.
  • Assure the quality of commercial product by reviewing and approving contract manufacturing partners change controls, deviations, nonconformances, and out of specification investigations. Initiates and conducts internal change controls, planned deviations, and investigations where applicable.

  • Executes customer support activities involving the installation, modification, and repair of complex nuclear measurement equipment and systems.
  • Conduct on-site installation of complex nuclear measurement equipment and systems, focusing on the setup/configuration of (Canberra) hardware and software, using established testing procedures and training to ensure proper function of system(s). Provide familiarization to the customer on system hardware/software and its basic modes of operation.
  • Troubleshoot and isolate equipment malfunctions and take corrective actions, analyzing hardware or software issues. Work closely with Technical Support and Engineering to locate and correct system faults.
  • Complete Field Reports and logs to ensure work performed is properly documented and all problems in the field are reported and addressed. House Troubleshooting and Repair

  • Provide professional representation of the Company in all dealings with customers, creating a positive experience for the customer.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate for this role is a US Navy nuclear-trained technician! Nuke ELTs welcome!

  • 1-3 years in a technical/customer service position. Must have excellent technical and customer relations experience to handle the diversity of systems and their applications.
  • Nuclear experience is required. Naval Nuclear Power Program experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge and proficiency of any of the (Canberra) products such as High Purity Germanium (HPGe) Detectors, Sodium Iodide (NaI) detectors, and Alpha Beta Counting Systems
  • Experience using (Canberra) software such as Genie 2000, Apex Gamma, Apex In-Vivo, Eclipse, and Apex Alpha Beta.
  • Database management experience using SQL Server, Crystal Reports and/or Access.
  • Nuclear Physics and Radiation Principles knowledge and experience
  • Understanding of Gamma Spectroscopy, Alpha/Beta Counting, and radiation detection principles a plus.
