Position Overview

Senior-level, hands-on quality role responsible for ensuring machined parts and assemblies meet internal standards, customer specifications, and ISO/industry requirements. Acts as a subject matter expert in inspection, metrology, and root cause analysis while supporting continuous improvement and mentoring junior team members.


Key Responsibilities

• Perform advanced dimensional inspections using CMM, optical comparators, height gauges, micrometers, and calipers
• Interpret complex engineering drawings, GD&T, and customer specifications
• Execute First Article Inspections (FAI) per AS9102 and customer requirements
• Develop and maintain inspection plans, control plans, and quality documentation
• Support PPAP submissions and customer qualification processes

About the Role

In this role, you will perform installation and service work in a safe, efficient, and profitable manner while accurately tracking productive labor time versus travel time. You will complete preventive maintenance in accordance with customer-specific service programs and maintain detailed documentation of all work performed, including parts usage and service records. This position requires Stanley equipment updates and ANSI A156.10 standards, as well as keeping technical manuals and documentation up to date. You will be responsible for maintaining company vehicles, tools, and equipment in proper working conditions, managing service vehicle parts inventory, and ensuring all equipment is tested and safety-checked before leaving job sites. A professional appearance and high-quality workmanship are always expected, along with delivering excellent customer service and maintaining positive customer relationships.
