Title: UPS Field Service Technician
Location: Chandler, AZ 85226
Shift: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
(Report to work each Monday for AM staff meeting and then dispatch – report from home Tues-Fri)
Compensation: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour – Guaranteed 40 hours each week + some OT at time and half
Benefits: Tools, Company Vehicle, Gas, Full Benefits Package, 3% 401(k) match + $45 daily Per Diem
Travel: 50% - Once per month to Las Vegas for 2-4 days. The rest of the travel is to facilities in Arizona. Some overnight travel is required in AZ - home most nights and home every weekend.

Position Description: The UPS Field Service Technician is a professional-minded individual with technical experience in electricity, backup power, uninterruptible power, and power distribution equipment. This individual will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while performing technical maintenance and repair of equipment. You will work under the supervision of the Service Operations Manager and Officers of the Company. Provide ongoing maintenance and repair of single and three-phase UPS systems, power quality, and power distribution equipment. You will also provide technical support to customers on operational or maintenance aspects. The UPS tech will be responsible for scheduling maintenance activities efficiently and to benefit the customer and the company. Complete service reports and paperwork promptly. You will also be expected to effectively communicate with coworkers and supervisors regarding all activities. You will be expected to participate in continuous learning on the various types of UPS and power quality equipment serviced. 120 days of OJT and shadowing will be provided!

Requirements:
• 2-4 years of troubleshooting experience in uninterruptable power systems, battery technologies, emergency power, electricity, or electronics.
• Must have the ability to read and interpret technical instructions, safety manuals, service manuals, electric and electronic schematics, and policies and procedures.
• Demonstrate an understanding of single-phase, three-phase, and AC/DC circuit theory: must be proficient in the use of test equipment.
