Title: Plant Maintenance Manager
Location: Roseland, NJ (greater Newark / NYC metro area)
Shift: Monday – Friday primary production day hours starting at 6:00am; otherwise as needed/required.
Compensation: $125K-$145K base salary + 10% target bonus (20% max) + relocation.

Position Description: The Plant Maintenance Manager is a real, proven leader with a hand-on, out-front approach responsible for all plant maintenance for production, support, and facility operations, capital projects, and waste-water treatment as part of the plant leadership team. Reporting to the plant manager, this position leads plant engineering and provides technical leadership for the maintenance department, is responsible for capital planning, coordination, and implementation, and provides safety and environmental technical support including regulatory compliance and service requirements. You will lead a team of ~10 maintenance personnel, including supervisors and technicians. Essential duties include:
• Planning, direction, coordination, optimal use of workers, equipment, materials, and facilities.
• Direct & coordinate technical support & services to meet line efficiencies, safety, and requirements.
• Ensures all maintenance tasks and schedules are developed and followed for all equipment.
• Ensures equipment parts are stocked and maintained for equipment repairs and preventative services.
• Coordinate/provide technical training and develop machine specific technical instructions.
• Prepare and control annual expense budget, forecasts, operating costs, and reporting results monthly.
• Supports and initiates cost reduction activity.
• Develops capital plan working with plant stakeholders and corporate engineering.
• Develops, plans, and establishes engineering schedules to meet or exceed plan.
• All personnel functions – interviewing, hiring, evaluations, coaching and discipline when required.
Requirements: Company is an outstanding leader with prior industrial maintenance experience as a technician. Candidates must have 5-years of direct supervisory maintenance leadership of technicians and direct maintenance program leadership experience in the military or industry. Excellent communication skills and ability to lead cross-functional teams for high-performance and operations success. Ability to develop, control, and report on project management and budget activities. Experience in scheduling maintenance activities. Proven electrical and mechanical skills.
