Position Requirements
• Previous sales experience selling PLM (CAD, FEA, Process Simulation, Manufacturing, Quality, etc.) software into Industrial Machinery accounts is preferred.
• Understanding of Machinery Automation and Systems Integration.
• Previous sales experience with resellers of Autodesk, Dassault Systems, or PTC Capable in Salesforce.com and Microsoft Office.
• Proven written and presentation development skills required, with strong skills in MS Excel and PowerPoint and Tableau.

Details:
In the Building Automation Technician role, you will assist with routine equipment installation, trial runs and emergency service activities to ensure all equipment and systems are installed and/or operating to contract specifications. You will provide assistance with training customers to maintain and adjust routine equipment, and perform routine maintenance on tools, test equipment, etc. and complete required service or systems paperwork. You will also assist with responding to routine service or systems calls. Some specific responsibilities include:
Network Technologies
• Back up data from data servers and create automated backup procedures.
• Troubleshoot and resolve inconsistencies in the functions or sequence of operations, and drive issues to resolution.
• Set up and configure PC workstations, user interfaces, data servers, IP Networking devices, protocols, routers, switches and hubs (including fiber optics).
Technical Service
• Complete service repairs, replacements, upgrades, adjustments and calibration on automation systems and components following issued tasking, maintenance, troubleshooting, and installation instructions.
• Respond to customer service calls (emergency, on-site, or on-line), checks indicated points of trouble, analyze full requirements of system involved, and check / test systems components. Diagnose trouble or defect, determine corrective action, and repair system.
• Perform preventative maintenance and diagnostics on automation system and components according to TSP (technical support programs) / service agreement contracts. Test and verify system readings ensuring an optimal system operation.
Project Site Communication and Coordination
• Schedule with trade contractors to coordinate start-up services as needed.
• Start up and test HVAC equipment, coordinate network drops, IP addresses and monitoring tools with customer IT personnel.
• Work with equipment vendors to coordinate communication protocols, encryption and database requirements for integration to their systems.
Operational Testing, Verification and Acceptance
• Run reports to analyze system operation.
• Work with customers to demonstrate system operation and verify consistency with the contracted scope of work.
• Participate in final inspection and testing, and ensure customer acceptance.
• Train customers on system operations.
• Provide Plans and Control Systems Documents to Engineering for as-built drawings.

Position Details
Location: Louisville, KY
Compensation: ~$45K-$55K (hourly) + overtime
Travel: You can expect minimal (if any) overnight travel.
