What We Are Looking For
Understands operation of basic technology equipment and processes, while following all safety procedures and TWI job instructions. Majority of time is spent manually assembling and packaging product, including labeling, weighing, sealing, carton and loading pallets for shipment. Start up, operate and shut down basic technology equipment and processes on manual and automatic equipment. Can identify that troubleshooting is needed on equipment and processes, but seeks out others to assist. Has the knowledge and skill sets to execute across multiply basic technologies within the department. May operate approximately 10% of the next level equipment or processes in continued development towards the next level.

What You Will Do

  • Complete packaging, labeling, and carton of products to include label accuracy, package seal integrity, and counts per package and carton (occasional manual packaging and re-packaging of product).
  • Start-up, operate and shutdown basic technology manual, semi-automatic and automatic assembly/production machines and processes.
  • Perform quality inspections in accordance to Panduit's quality systems and procedures and complete all data entry functions.
  • Safety in accordance to Panduit's safety guidelines and procedures.
  • Waste elimination by preforming daily 5S activities.

What You Will Bring

  • Required Degree: High school education or GED equivalent
  • Certificate(s): Production Operator training curriculum
  • Experience: Less than one (1) year manufacturing experience
  • Ability to carry out standard work routines using simple or basic equipment. A satisfactory standard can be achieved after a few weeks of practical experience.

Position requires high level of technical skill sets and ability to perform set up, start up, troubleshooting and operation of basic and intermediate manufacturing processes and equipment, including knowledge of job practices, TWI procedures, concepts, or principles. Has the knowledge and skill sets to execute across multiply intermediate and some advanced technologies within the department. Can provide training for all basic and intermediate levels of technology processes. What You Will Do

  • Set up & troubleshoot area machines and related production equipment and processes of intermediate technologies.
  • Start-up, operation and shutdown of area machines and related production equipment of intermediate technology equipment and processes, to produce finished product.
  • Complete packaging, labeling, and carton of products to include label accuracy, package seal integrity, and counts per package and carton (occasional manual packaging and re-packaging of products).
  • Perform quality inspections in accordance with Panduit's quality systems procedures and complete all data entry functions. Resolve quality issues that occur in production and communicate unresolved and/or questionable product quality to appropriate supervision and/or quality personnel.
  • Assist in training and development of less experienced employees. Actively involved in area continuous education and training requirements
  • Actively involved in the identification and elimination of waste. Take part in advancing 5S levels.
  • Proficient in use of Panduit Oracle operating system to enter, monitor and track manufacturing information, process raw materials and establish maintenance work orders.

What We Are Looking For
Perform all Production Operator job responsibilities, where applicable. Other responsibilities include performing minor troubleshooting on basic technology equipment and processes, and assisting in training less experienced employees on equipment of basic technology and/or manufacturing processes such as manual/automated assembly or semi-automatic packaging processes in accordance with safety regulations, quality initiatives, lean tools and other principles as documented in Panduit's operating system and manufacturing procedures to meet customer service deliverables. Can work independently as well as in a team setting, with some leadership or mentoring responsibilities. Has the knowledge and skill sets to execute across multiply basic and some intermediate technologies within the department. May operate approximately 25% of the next level equipment or processes in continued development towards the next level.

  • Certificate(s): Senior Production Operator training curriculum.
  • Straightforward administrative procedures are carried out such as maintaining records, dealing with routine queries, and correspondence and/or operating specialized but not necessary complex machines. Up to 6 months of practical experience is required possibly coupled with concentrated training for a few weeks.

What We Are Looking For
Activities related to receiving of incoming goods according to guidelines and instructions for (unloading of trucks and containers and sorting these shipments) and the storage in the warehouse. Picking/Packing of customer orders, loading of trucks and containers, according to guidelines and instructions. Identifying problems and blockages in the workplace and notify the Supervisor. Responsible for quality and housekeeping activities.

What You Will Do

  • Picking and completing customer orders and internal orders with an RF-Unit and packing of customer work orders.
  • Execution of activities for receiving of incoming inventory, split actions, put away, movements, restocks, pull downs, put ups, rack to shelf put aways, cycle counts and other activities with a RF-Unit and in an on-line computer environment. Responsible and troubleshooting work orders.
  • Loading and unloading trucks and containers.
  • Take out from the warehouse the already segregated waste & garbage. (only for the location where it is required).
  • General department housekeeping as needed and required to maintain appearance standards.
  • Identifying problems and blockages in the workplace and notify the Supervisor.

What You Will Bring

  • Required Degree: High school or GED
  • Experience: 0-1 years of experience in warehousing operations.
  • Ability to communicate via email, phone, and in person with divisional and external contacts several hours per day.
  • Pickup, lift, and load cartons of product on trucks and trailers above head level.
  • Ability to stand, sit, bend and stoop for up to 8 hours per day.
  • Good physical conditions with no major limitations to allow for the above repetitive motions

What You Will Bring

  • Forklift Driver License - preferred
  • Driver License - preferred
  • 1-3 years of experience in forklift/warehousing operations
  • Ability to communicate via email, phone, and in person with divisional and external contacts several hours per day.
  • Close tape and seal cartons, enter keystroke data on network PC keyboards and mainframe computer terminals.
  • Pickup, lift, and load cartons of product on trucks and trailers above head level.
