Orion Thanks Enterprise for Its Donation to Operation Military Embrace

Orion wishes to thank Enterprise Holdings Corporation for its $3,000 donation to Operation Military Embrace. Orion and Enterprise have had an ongoing relationship for several years, and we are very appreciative of the generosity of Enterprise Holdings.

Enterprise Holdings, Inc. is a privately owned holding company headquartered in Clayton, MO. It is the parent company of several car rental companies, including Enterprise Rent-A-Car, Alamo, National Car Rental, and Enterprise CarShare. Enterprise was founded in 1957 by Jack Taylor, who served as a Fighter Pilot in World War II.

Operation Military Embrace (“OME”) is a Texas-based non-profit support organization with active officers, directors and volunteers committed to helping wounded warriors and their families. OME’s primary goal is to provide financial and moral support to assist wounded Warriors and their families during their time of critical need. OME is dedicated to supporting injured and/or ill members of all branches and units of the military. OME also works to increase public awareness of the challenges facing members of the military. For more information about OME, visit the website.

According to OME President, Jerry Reed:

"Wow -- This generous donation from Enterprise is so very much appreciated!! Today we attended the retirement ceremony for an injured Marine in San Antonio, Texas. This is part of our OME function to honor, serve and support America’s injured Warriors and their families, and it was really an inspirational event that touched our hearts. Orion has truly been a blessing to America’s injured and ill Warriors and their families through the vessel that is OME."

Orion is so appreciative of our ability to bring together great companies like Enterprise with our dedicated nonprofit partners.

According to Your Peers

"I was an Aviation Machinist Mate 1st Class (E6). My time in the U.S. Navy made me a better mechanic and provided me with the tools needed to become analytical, troubleshoot effectively and taught me leadership skills second to none.

This helped me in my current career as a Line Mechanic at Unilever in Cicero, Illinois. Unlike Orion’s competitors, Orion was very consistent and worked very hard to help me get in front of potential employers. In a very short period of time I talked to 7 potential employers and went on to 4 second interviews. In the end I had to choose between two, but I was glad to have that problem. "-Orlando Pantoja, Line Mechanic

"The industry I’m entering is data and technology oriented but I’m still on the engineering side. My military background definitely provided me with the correct skills for success. Orion went above the call of duty by providing me with advice and guidance for all the positions and companies I was considering on both the East and West coasts. The position I now hold is a Site Engineer at a data center with Equinix. Orion met all of my needs! I am beyond happy with my new career! Orion stands along at the top of its competitors." -Casey Cline, Site Engineer

"I was an Air Force Crew Chief E-5, I am now an Associate Technician at Colonial Pipeline. Both jobs involve working with my hands and hydraulics. There is no comparison to Orion, Orion knocks their competitors out of the park!"-Jason Kepner, Associate Technician
