Virtual interviews for the Field Service Technician position will be held on June 2.
As a Field Service Technician, you will lead the start-up, commissioning, emergency service, and regular scheduled preventative maintenance service of equipment at customer locations. This is a very key front-line service role, as you will be interacting with and directly serving customer equipment needs. You will travel to customer locations and provide the best customer equipment troubleshooting, repair, and training in operation and maintenance in the business. Every day you will communicate and coordinate information between the company and its customers to correct equipment difficulties using superb problem-solving skills. You will provide the routine upkeep and regularly scheduled preventative maintenance and correct any equipment difficulties using superb problem-solving skills as needed to ensure company equipment continually stays fully operational. Your home office responsibilities will include quality control of equipment prior to shipment and technical phone support for customers. Proficiency on company systems and performance will lead to increased responsibilities for Field Service Technician promotions after your Technician Development Program and throughout your career with the company.
Location: Louisville, KY
Salary: Initial starting base rate of $23/hr ($48K) + overtime (paid at 1.5X base rate after 40 hours and 2X base rate after 50 hours weekly) + quarterly profitability bonus potential (averages 6% payout of annual base salary). Once you complete training (3-6months), your pay will get bumped up to $24.50/hr ($51K).
Realistic 1st Year W-2 ~$60K - $70K.
Realistic 2nd - 3rd Year W-2 ~ $80K - $100K (increased with more potential OT).
Travel Requirements: About 75%; you can realistically expect to be gone Sunday evening to Thursday evening three weeks per month. You will be home most weekends, and when you are not traveling you will be performing technical support at the call center in Louisville.
Training: All company Technicians go through a 3 to 6-month Technician Development Program at company headquarters (and the largest production plant in Louisville) learning equipment and processes, including building the equipment. You will also be sent to PLC school to get trained and certified on PLC programming and troubleshooting. Once certified on company equipment Field Service Technicians are promoted to a salary position (exempt) with additional pay straight time for any work after 45 hours per work plus 1.5X straight pay or comp time for any weekend work.

• Excellent diagnostic technician with solid electrical, electronic, and mechanical maintenance experience.
• Possess demonstrated technical training experience in electricity, electronics, or equipment maintenance.
• Capable of logic and sequential development and troubleshooting (ideally with PLC-controlled systems), including proficiency in reading mechanical blueprints and electrical schematics.
