Position Details
Location: Gastonia, NC
Compensation: $20/hr starting if training is needed. $25-$30/hr with Limitorque experience. Up to 2800 hours a year, Non-exempt, OT pays 1.5x and 2x on Holidays, Per Diem and Field pay included. Relocation expenses may be provided if needed.
Travel: 50% - 75%, M-F with most site visits lasting an average of 3-4 days.
Schedule: Primarily M-F 7 AM to 4 PM. Weekend work depends on customer demand.

Position Description
As a Limitorque Actuator Technician, your responsibilities will include:
• Troubleshoot, inspect, install, and test actuators.
• Install and/or replace components per wiring diagram.
• Complete field service/job time worksheets and submit to Field Service Coordinator/Shop Supervisor upon completion of field service/labor work.

Position Requirements
• The ideal fit for this role is a military mechanic with limitorque experience. A lot of Navy technicians, especially Nuke MMs, have limitorque exposure. Company will provide on-the-job training for qualified applicants, but mechanical and electrical work history or experience is preferred.
• Ability to receive and understand verbal and written technical instructions in English.
• Safely function in an industrial setting where manufacturing conditions exist.
• Ability to use overhead crane and/or hoist.
• Ability to use appropriate gauges and measurements.
• Ability to use various mechanical tools.
• Ability to meet quality and productivity requirements.
• A good working understanding of mechanical and electrical principles is a plus.
• Ability and willingness to use the company designated personal protective equipment and adhere to the company’s unyielding safety program.
• Visual ability to read directions, prints, and gauges.
• Some heavy lifting required.
