Position Descriptions:
Will be responsible for directing and coordinating activities of employees engaged in testing finished and semi-finished products to determine if physical properties meet manufacturing specifications. Will need to lay out, build, test, troubleshoot, repair and modify developmental and production electronic components, parts, equipment and systems.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for this position must be able to understand electronic circuitry and schematics to be able to effectively troubleshoot existing products as well as recommend future designs on projects.

Position Description
As a Mechanical Field Service Technician, you will be in charge of installing, troubleshooting and repairing equipment across the United States and one day the world. You will go to manufacturing facilities such as metal can manufacturing, automotive parts manufacturing and really any manufacturing environment where metal must be shaped by a press. Position Details
Location: Detroit, MI If you live within an hour of a major airport, you may still be considered. Since travel can be stressful for families, they are willing to allow most team members to live wherever they may have family close by in the region to have a support structure when travelling, similar to the military.
Salary: Depending on skill level and anticipated training curve, starting rate is $26-$28/hr plus overtime (target first year total comp of $70-75K+). You will also receive a company car, cell phone, and laptop.
Schedule: You will be scheduled to be out in the field Monday through Friday. However, you will have to work weekends on occasion (estimated at less than 1 per month, but this could vary). Your work hours could vary slightly, depending on the job you are on, and if you need to do your repairs during business hours or after hours.
Travel Requirements: You will travel domestically and over time, internationally once you understand the equipment thoroughly. For domestic travel you will generally return home every weekend, depending on customer requirements. It is estimated that you will be away from home an average of 1 weekend a month.
