Position Description
As a Maintenance Technician, you will perform routine and extensive preventative maintenance and repair procedures on electrical and mechanical systems involving production equipment and plant systems, including the plant’s main power supply system. Additional responsibilities will include:
• Demonstrating and using maintenance basic trade activities while performing minor and major repair of all buildings and equipment.
• Consulting with Maintenance Managers as needed on electrical system issues.
• Serving in a project coordination role monitoring the activities of outside contractors.
• Performing preventive maintenance procedures on a scheduled basis such as inspect belts, check fluid levels, replace filters, grease bearings, seals, etc.; repairs or replace broken parts.

Position Details:
Location: Chesterfield, MO
Salary: $24.72/hr, plus overtime and shift differential ($$0.23 for 2nd and $0.35 for 3rd). Expected first year compensation will be $70K-$72K.
Shift: 2nd or 3rd shift (based upon seniority). Overtime will be expected (average work week is 40-48 hours) with some weekend work required. Most weekend work will be on Saturdays. All overtime is 1.5x pay.

• Must have a working knowledge of relay logic and be capable of applying this knowledge in the troubleshooting of the PLC’s in the production equipment.
• Extensive PLC knowledge isn’t necessary; however, strong electrical background may provide an avenue to more pay.
• Must have mechanical knowledge and willingness to get your hands dirty.
• Must have a strong understanding of electrical safety standards and apply these standards.
• Must be able to operate a computer which controls and monitors mechanical equipment and utility systems.
• Must be able to calibrate and repair pneumatic systems and other mechanical systems.
• Must have strong record keeping capability and be ready to document and log information pertaining to their duties.
